Terms of Service

Last updated: September 26, 2026. Contact: a@amos.codes.

By creating an account or using Planpool you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Planpool does

Planpool coordinates person-to-person group purchases: an organizer posts a group buy, pledgers pay their seat price up front, and Planpool holds the money until the organizer delivers or the group is refunded. Planpool takes a 0% platform fee. Planpool is not the seller of the underlying subscription or product; the organizer is.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to pledge or organize. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials (password, passkeys, linked Google account) secure and for activity under your account.

3. For organizers

4. For pledgers

5. Refunds and disputes

Missed thresholds and organizer cancellations trigger full refunds. To dispute a delivery, explain what was not delivered; an administrator triages each open dispute to a refund or a dismissal. Refunds return your pledge amount; card-network processing fees are set by Stripe and may not be recoverable on refunded payments.

6. Prohibited uses

No fraud, money laundering, or misrepresentation; no groups for illegal goods or services; no abuse of disputes, chargebacks, or other users. Accounts used this way may be suspended and their groups refunded.

7. Availability

Planpool is offered in the United States, Canada, and Western Europe only, on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee. The service may be paused or restricted to prevent fraud or abuse.

8. Liability

The service is provided as-is. Planpool holds pledged funds so the remedy for non-delivery is a refund; to the maximum extent allowed by law, Planpool's liability is limited to the amounts you paid through the platform.

9. Changes

Material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
